Valle Camonica (Camonica Valley)

The Oglio river stream covers Valle Camonica, located between the Alpi Retiche, mountains which surpass 3000 metres. Here there are important historical attestations of Bronze Age: rock engravings shows humans, animals, arms and symbolic drawings.
Valle Camonica is well known as one of the principal site for winter sports. Ponte di Legno, Tonale, Borno, Monte Campione are the most important towns where to practice skiing and snowboarding.
