Palazzo Carignano

Guarino Guarini in 1689 designed the baroque façade and the elliptical entrance. It was the birthplace of Carlo Alberto and Vittorio Emanuele II (the first king of united Italy). It's home to the Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano).
By crossing the Palace courtyard you can admire the nineteenth-century façade overlooking Piazza Carlo Alberto.
