Sestiere S. Polo and S. Croce
They are include between the northern side of Canal Grande and Rio Novo stream,
also enclosing Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto.
Rialto
It's traditionally considered one of the oldest sides of the city; in 11th
century it was the main marketplace and site of commercial transactions.
This zone is include between Ponte di Rialto, the Pescheria, the Campo
delle Beccherie and S. Silvestro church.
In Campo della Pescaria there is, every morning, a big and colourful food marketplace.
S. Giacomo dell'Orio
This church is one of the oldest Venetian churches, re-built in 1225.
S. Maria dei Frari
This church has the higher bell tower after S. Marco cathedral, and
it has been built, in a late gothic style, from 1340 to almost 1500.
